Wow. I don't think you should vote. or reproduce. You definitely need to get that fixed.
Some picture books do have large words and long sentences. Though, I doubt it was for this case having been corrected by a 3-5 year old.
We're you drunk at the time?
btw I voted that i deserved it
Kindy kids in Australia are between 3 and 5 years old which would put you between 9-15. Though I'd assume someone under 12 isn't on this site. You really need to work on your English skills and if you work there, your maths also as you can't work in a Childcare under 17.
I don't work there. I was just helping as part of a high school program. I am a straight A student, but I just have difficulty with pronunciation, spelling and grammar.
Grades aren't a great reflection of intellect, but in this case I can see why you'd use them to defend yourself. Clearly you're at least being somewhat educated, *true* idiots can't get honors and such.
Wondering if the OP is like so many others teachers over here...Not of an English Speaking Background. That could explain it fully! If not, well they should be sacked immediately!
Thrice her age...
Yeah, I feel for you. Reading out loud can be a pain even if it's a children's book.
