Today, I was robbed. I didn't know how the robber got in, as there was no clear signs of forced entry. I later found out that my psycho ex had written my address on the key I lent her when we were going out, then purposely left it on a table in a café. FML

thats a horrible situation. but I agree with everyone who said you should've changed the lock. after a break up I've changed just about everything except my name lol some people are vengeful and you can never be too careful.

that is why I always leave the key inside the lock when locking from the inside. You don't have to look for your keys in the morning and also this can't happen.

@33 That depends on where OP is. In the U.S. if you give someone the means to rob another person (which is what she did by leaving his key and address for a stranger to find), you're guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime. Since OP was actually robbed, she's an accessory.
