Today, I was shopping in an upscale store. As I was changing, I heard one of the snobby saleswomen say to mine "You shouldn't bother. She isn't going to buy anything." Determined to "show her", I purchased everything I'd tried on. It came to around $500. My credit card was declined. FML

Today, I was waiting in line while a lady paid for her shopping, when her credit card got declined. She started ranting and insulting everyone and kept insisting: "I'm not poor!" By the time the lady had finally stormed off, I had spittle on my face, and the cashier was almost in tears. FML

Today, I was shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart with my mom. As we pulled up to the cashier, I noticed it was a really hot girl from my school. Trying to be cool, I told my mom that I'll be paying for the purchases. My debit card was denied. My mom had to pay. FML

Today, I thought the cashier said the new blouse I picked out was ugly as she was ringing me up. I'm really self-conscious about my fashion sense, so I snapped and started yelling at her. It wasn't until she was close to tears did I find out she said "lovely" not "ugly". So, that's another store I can't go back to. FML

Today, I bought some shoes, but pissed off the lady working at the store by returning them 5 minutes later. She yelled at me and ripped my receipt in half, everyone in the store watched as she threw a handful of pennies at my face. FML

You do deserve it for being so shallow and insecure that you care what some snobby sales person thinks about you. Sorry but that's DUMB. It's cool if you actually liked the clothes and could afford it, but since your credit card was declined it's likely that you aren't that good with money. Maybe because you go around doing things like that. You should have just complained to the manager; remember that those sales girls aren't getting paid much more than minimum wage anyway - have you ever noticed that in upscale stores the sales girls wear plain black? It's because they can't afford the same clothes that they're selling. So why should you care about what they think?

What you should have done was come out saying you heard every word they said. Dropped the clothes on the floor and told them they lost a huge commission because they're bitches. THEN complain to the manager.
