To OP: Ewwwwww~ This is hilarious, but OMG EW. (And poor spider!) To everyone saying YDI: Dude, it's highly probably that (a) the spider jumped into the OP's hair/fell from the ceiling (they don't need to lower themselves on their web, sometimes they just fall), and (b) that the OP was looking elsewhere at the exact moment that the spider fell and therefore didn't see it. It doesn't mean the OP is unhygienic or stupid for not brushing their hair beforehand or not looking in the mirror, it just means that they had crap luck with spiders and straightening their hair this time around. Spiders can exist even in the cleanest of houses, especially if the OP lives in a dorm or something.
#83 Do you think people are on the constant look out for spiders? When I'm straightening my hair, the last thing I'm worried about is a spider coming out of nowhere and ending up on my head. I think, correct me if I'm wrong, that people usually concentrate on getting their hair straight. And no one said it was a black widow. Spiders can be small you know.
LOLOLOL. i did kinda melt a bit of plastic comb into my hair before and my hair smelt like burnt plastic for a couple of months no matter how much i washed it... serves me right for straightening my hair whilst half asleep though!
i'm kind of curious to know what this looks like
#83: Maybe she has a black hair straightener and the spider crawled up the (once again, black!) cord. it's easy not to notice- spiders move around a lot. i had a black widow living in my shoe for quite some time. i thought i'd shook it out because i didnt see it, then i came back to it a few days later to find it was still there.
Eeek! FYL? No... F the poor spidey's life. Does suck, though. I would've freaked the f* out. Arachnophobia like yeh wouldn't believe. To the point of being beyond irrationally irrational.
