Today, I was talking to a guy I met online and have known for 4 years. I've fallen in love with him twice, one of those times being currently. He was supposed to visit this summer. I got an email from him saying he's really a 17 year old girl from Chesterfield, MO. FML

Which means he's a married 48 year old man from New Jersey - or some dude you know from work.

You've "fallen in love with" someone from the internet? =S I can't see how that's even possible. Really, I can't. Being 'interested' in someone from the internet? Sure. But love? No...

Never trust online dating stupid...

Just by saying you dated someone on the internet that you haven't seen it's a stupid thing to do because it could've been worse like a 50 year old man It's really stupid sorry about it though

That's just ridiculous. For one, you kept this 4 year 'relationship' going without even planning to meet in person? Wouldn't you think that maybe it was some kid playing a joke on you? And second, that girl's stupid. Why waste 4 years tricking some woman? You both must have boring lives. Get out there. Don't rely on the internet to help you find someone.

Ouch! That sucks. But then again. you spent 4 years 'in a relashinship' with this "man". How could you trust someone you've never even met? They could be lying now too. Face-to-face is the way to go :P

YDI. Not for being in an online relationship; those can be totally valid and I get annoyed when people say that they can't be, since some of my best friends I only know online. YDI for never even needing so much as a picture or voice clip to verify "his" identity.
