Today, I was thinking about how people say if you're gradually introduced to a smell or you're forced to deal with enough, you'll stop noticing it. And how untrue that is. Especially when your roommates sneak a dead rabbit under your bed. FML

you did a wonderful job of writing this FML my question is: where did they get a dead rabbit?

they could of killed it or found on the road it wouldn't be that hard to find one in the country

Go find some dead armadillos and skunks and opossums and shit and shovel them under their sheets.

Wow that's a little too Godfather for my liking! I'd be moving out and hiding the rabbit somewhere that they won't find it!!

Why the hell are you posting this on the internet? You need to be a) packing your things b) getting payback =D hope things work out for ya

Are you sure this is your life and not Fatal Attraction? Haha but seriously, that's like a passive aggressive note gone waaaaaay wrong.

Ugh, that's gross... Are they mad at you or something, or are they trying to be funny? Either way, that's pretty gross, and that's one smell that you'll probably never forget.

Getting used to scents gradually does work. However, "gradually" is more along the lines of the smell developing slowly while you're (constantly) in the room, not it developing over a few days with you coming in and out and noting the contrast as you do. Or gradually like if the smell was from you, and you were therefore never away from it. Also if you were in the room, noticing the smell, for a half hour or so you might stop noticing it so much...until you leave the room. But when you come back, again, you'll smell it. It's all about the contrasts.
