Wooow! I go to a catholic school and we have teachers with lip rings, microdermals, eyebrow piercings, you name it. Tattoos too, we even have a smoking area.. For students! Your school is crazy! FYL

But here [Australia], pretty much all public schools can't/don't make people take the majority of piercings out. However, if it is a facial piercing that has a spike (or sometimes ring), they do make you change it/take it out but apart from they they generally don't care/can't make you. Private schools here have stricter rules but thats because they make their own rules and can kick you out if you don't obey. Not to mention the times that I have seen schools try to make someone take out a stud piercing the student told them how much it cost to have done, how it can heal up in the space of a school day and said if the school would like to pay that cost then they would do it. They would always let it slide.

in our school we cant have any facial peircings, only ones in the ear. which means yiu have huge gauges or your ear lined with peircings, but even one tiny stud on your face. so stupid.
