Today, I was told by my mother that the reason she quit her job as a counselor and divorced my dad was because she met someone through work. She works in a prison. FML

You moron, do you honestly believe your mother is the only employee of the prison? Yeah. Other people work there too. Unless you're saying there's something wrong with prison employees (which includes your own mother), you're a ******* dumbass.

It's actually fairly common for women to be swept off their feet by prisoners when they have repeated contact with them, even if that contact is entirely innocent or professional. You see, the prisoners have nothing better to do than spend all day thinking of ways to woo, romance, and lavish attention on anyone even the slightest bit willing to reciprocate that attention. Many women find it overwhelming and end falling madly in love. That being said, she could be dating another prison employee, instead of a prisoner.
