Today, I was waitering at the restaurant that I work at when I collected a credit card bill that was worth $120 and a big zero on the tip line. Angered, I turned to a co-worker and said "I knew this asshole wasn't going to tip me." The guy was standing right behind me with $30 in his hand. FML

That was stupid. Plenty of people pay tips with cash instead, myself included.

I hope he threw the money in your face. Ha, no I don't. I hope he gave the money to your co-worker.

I am a generous tipper and I usually TIP in cash, even when I pay with a cc. Why? Because if I put it on the cc the Restaurant takes a cut and I already paid them. Something to think about.

Wow, you americans treat tipping like it's law!

It's 'cause America doesn't have minimum wage, so tipping is how they make their money.

#230: Where I work, the servers make $2.13 an hour. Minimum wage is $7.25. Tipping isn't a courtesy thing in America, tips are pretty much a server's entire income.

You deserve it for a couple of reasons. Firstly, you made up a stupid word, waitering? There's no such thing. Secondly, you're a judgmental ass.

That's what you get for being a douchebag. Agreed?

I hope you were right. I hope he didn't tip an asshole like you.
