as said, even for bringing sprite to a workout YDI
All your products use only four ingredients? I find that hard to believe seeing as even the most basic body shop products use at least 10, and pretty much every deodorant contains trichloroson which is directly related to breast cancer. If you want to make a point of it though, you can name these supposed products which you only just bothered checking. It doesn't really change the fact that using make up still can't be considered "taking care of yourself". I don't really get why you're making a big deal over one of probably many ingredients used in the make up you use every day not being carcinogenic, and it seems if you really wanted to make your point you would've simply named it rather than typing all that. I don't know a single person who would paint a picture, not look at it all day, and then wash the paint off it at night. Do you? Unless you do it's not logical to assume anyone would. How do you figure make up is less severe than pouring water on herself? You wear make up every day you admit. Hers was a one off. Most make up is potentially carcinogenic. Water isn't. Even guys splash water on themselves when they're working out to cool down. Not many wear make up. Make up application takes up months of your life when added up. Pouring water on herself while working out would only have taken a few seconds. Perhaps you think your make up isn't obvious but walking down the street, make up is just as noticeable as someone pouring water themselves whiles working out. Just not as nice tbh. Also, that's not why most people have their dogs spayed. I'm guessing you're not a dog owner. And probably a pro-lifer. It doesn't really have the same parallels to this situation either. You seem to be getting worked up defending your choice to wear make up, and saying it's all "for you". I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I couldn't care less if you choose to wear make up. It's simply hypocritical for you to wear make up and then judge someone else for trying to impress a guy like that. Even if I believed you about wearing make up to make yourself feel good(I don't), it's more scientifically plausible that her getting attention from a guy would make her feel good, as attention from the other sex creates endorphins which make us happy. What a sad, sad world we live in trying to impress the other sex is suddenly meant to be disgraceful and something to be ashamed of, as you seem to be with your need for make up.
I'm finding this debate more interesting than the post itself. I haven't been able to pick a side and stick to it though, because both have given good points. I can say that mobius has changed my thoughts on a few things though, and my original opinion on the OP. On the topic of makeup being used to impress however, I can understand both sides.
Seriously, people have learned nothing about the things you shouldn't do in life. When you try to show off, it always turns out badly on this site. So don't show off. YDI.
# 73- yes, even though this may be a guy, he is still an attention *****, but hey, he/she got what she wanted, even thought now she/he looks like a dumbass because of "trying to impress" someone. and to that guy who keeps coming back and looking through the comment to see whoes responded to him, you need to get a hobby and recognize that there is a huge diffrence between pouring sprite all over yourself and trying to impress words and personality and if you're sad enough to comment back and try that hypocrite thing on me, i don't wear make up
LOL why did you need to scream?
