#28 That's awful... And I've had this happen with a guy before. Turns out he didn't want people to know that we were dating was because we were both of a different race and everyone we worked with thought I was weird because I speak a different language. I believe his exact words were, "I think you're beautiful, but don't let anyone know I'm dating you." But it's your FML, not mine. Sorry! And yeah what a dick! I would dump him now, or believe me it won't evd pretty....
dump his ass
#4's comment was the best. sometimes people just don't wanna make things public right away in case it doesn't work out for some reason. it is pretty obnoxious when everyone's like "OH MY GOD! YOU GUYS BROKE UP?!!?!?!" it's like when couples don't put it on facebook that they're dating, it's not cause they're ashamed of each other or anything it's just a pain in the ass to have to deal with everyone asking about it if it doesn't work. If he keeps this up later in the relationship though, break up with him, eventually he's gonna have to admit to the world he's seeing you.
thats pretty ****** up..and IMO if you don't want to advertise your relationship because you "don't want to deal with crap from people" it kinda means you're not ready for a real relationship. it's all part of the package. sure makes it easier when he goes to dump you though...which is the real reason why some people don't want to advertise it. OP...dump his shallow ass
Breakup. Simple. He's a loser.

Sounds like something off a nickelodeon/Disney T.V. Show. And if its true, I've always wondered how guys ask out a girl they supposedly like and are embarrassed to be seen with them in public.
He's probably just shy and doesn't want everyone to know just yet. I mean, he was walking down the hall with you, so it's not like he's uncomfortable with being around you in public.
