Today, I was watching a movie at my girlfriend's house with her and her parents. There was a part where a brother and sister kissed, so I said "where'd they come from, Alabama?" Today is also the day I found out my girlfriend's parents are from Alabama. FML

Totally born and raised in Alabama here! why do people think we're so inbred? Mississippi is so much worse! Besides I'm married to my cousin, not my brother! (AFTER we got engaged after dating for a year, MY grandmother started dating and married HIS uncle in 2 weeks!)

Obviously you can't read. We're only cousins through my grandmother's marriage to his uncle. I called my grandmother to tell her I got engaged, and a week later she tells me she went on a date with his uncle. A week AFTER that she calls my dad to invite us to her wedding reception because they had a spontaneous courthouse wedding because it was "love at first sight."

I'm from texas and that ***** funny. sorry Alabamanz or whatever the hell u guys call urself but it's just what you guys are 'known' for. just like how everyone from Texas has cowboy hats and cactus growing in their yard and ride horses.

Like another comment said, Mississippi has the highest incest rate. Actually many places across the pond don't have laws against incest like most places in the USA (at least that's what the associated press says, thank you Google).
