What I would have done is turned off the movie right away and give her a deep scary stare then grab her arm and point my ginger at her saying "What was that , go in the kitchen now." I'f she had disobeyed Me , I would have really spanked her ass . Then if she had obeyed me , knowing what would happen if this had happened before is , I would threaten to wash her mouth out with a bar of soap and have her sit in the corner where I could have done my thing and still watch her. If she was a cutie pie bursting into tears I was lightly stroke her back and say "don't say that again" now go to your room and no toys or anything fun until I say it's time to play again. If if was a he that would have done it , I would have let my husband handle it and have a conversation about what words to use and what not , I'm not going to spank his ass with a belt, that's no mercy. The kid needs a spanken with a hand. This problem will be solved once I see improvements of the language my children are using. Depending on the age of the child , if he/she was pretty young , young enough to not know what they are saying. Of they were a little bit older I would be a little concerned where he had heard it. I would never ever say a cuss word around my children and never will.
I think a serious spanking is in order here.
Whaat??!! What is more normal than a child testing expressions she heard of?! I would -and i sometimes do- barely remind them that it's inappropriate and to not use that language around people, that's it! And my kids are the most polite and kind children around! AND they almost never use swearwirds, but not because they're scared, but because they understand!

You should have switched the TV off. Kids have no respect these days.
Kids these days...
Look who raised them, people who were kids "back in the day".
If my future kids tell me to shut the **** up, their asses would be black and blue.
Your logic-"My 8 year old child told me to shut the **** up, so instead of giving her discipline, I talk about it on FML."
Keywords
"Who sings that?" "The girl from Frozen!" "Yeahhh, let's keep it that way."
I'm a cashier and saw a kid about 9 or 10 tell his dad "**** you" when he wouldn't give him a quarter for the quarter machine then stormed off...the sad part is, he got his quarter eventually. Don't be that type of parent OP, please
