Why are you all mad at the OP? I think that EVERYONE in here has somewhat been rude to their parents or somebody else, so stop acting like she's the bad person. And what she said wasn't even that bad "You Suck, stop playing" It would have been bad if she cursed her mother out or something! So just, shut up about it.. jeez. Also, she was half asleep so she said the first thing that popped into her mind, don't beat her up for it :|
Thank you #38
All I can say is...**** the 5-yr old's life....
It's alright dude, I woulda done the same thing... whether I knew it was my cousin or not
#41 - I have seen instances where teenagers do disrespectfully attack their parents, in a way I would never even dream of talking to my parents. Behind closed doors, who knows if those parents say anything about it or do anything about it? All we know about the OP is that she was woken up, made a comment, and regretted it once she realized it was not her mother playing the piano.
At least you were being honest. Children need to hear the truth from someone..
Yayyyy! I love people who discourage people from learning to express themselves via music. Honestly, unless you can just pick up an instrument and play it perfectly, you shouldn't try and learn, right? Even if it was your mother, you still would have deserved it. Everybody should be able to practice an instrument if they want to. Honestly.
I feel where the OP is coming from, my mom sucks at the piano, and i want to say the same thing, well, except i don't. So FYL.
At least somebody said something about the awful playing. :] Seriously, better stop him/her now while he's/she's still young. On the other hand, there could be progress... But I still don't think people should shut up and not say anything, especially if it's a little kid. They can't be encouraged at things they obviously suck at, they're gonna think they actually do play nice and then someone's going to break it down to them one day and he'll be even more disappointed that no one stopped him in time. I'll stop ranting now. I agree with #48.

And why weren't you down there to enjoy this lovely recital?
Ok here's what you do: fall down the stairs, and pretend like you just woke up from a dream. Then comment on how bad the (insert random sport's team) was playing in your dream, while looking surprised at why everyone is staring at you.
