how is this an fml? even if u dont drink coffee, u could still buy other things, or just give to a friend or family member
aww you poor little brat. at least you got a friggin tip, and heres an idea: maybe your a suck ass waitress, they gave you something so stop being a bitch about it.
That's how life is.
Be glad they gave you something you arrogant bitch tips shouldnt even exist youre just supposed to properly serve people god what a ****
I read in the paper yesterday (although not particularly rocket science), waitresses tend to get more tips if they present themselves more nicely and wear more makeup. Of course it only really works with male customers and bulldykes.
Buy a hot cup of coffee then hunt those bitches down and throw it in their face
It's sad but you should expect that in that line of work. There's good days and bad days there's good people and there's bad people and there's good tippers and there's selfish ignorant tippers
I've served through mostly college.... a server is not being selfish when they get mad over a lousy tip. It is their pay. If money is tight, skip the drinks and use that to tip. A 5 dollar gift card is probably a very crappy tip. Many people do not realize that servers aren't the only ones who take home the tips... Many restaurants have the servers tip out the bar, hosts, bussers, and foodrunners... so while most people think you should be grateful for a 10% you have to realize that they arent keeping it all. If somebody had done that at the last place I worked I would have owed 3.50 in tipping out other workers... so you paid 3.50 to serve somebody for a gift card for coffee you dont like... I work in an office now and I would be really upset if I got paid in paperclips and rubberbands.

Well, there's tea and pastries there, too, yanno. I always get a Chai when I go there. No reason to be completely thankless.
Ooh, burn! I was tipped with toothbrushes once. Hey cool, number 1 =D
