Today, I was working at IHOP serving a table full of drunk idiots. After an hour of taking care of them I went to clean up their mess to find the tip they had left me. On a napkin a girl had wrote "Here's your tip for the night: Don't play leap frog with unicorns." FML

Umm. The only reason It happened because we were just starting 3rd shit at that IHOP And the only people who realized that we were open were the drunk people. So there's bound to be assholes. And I deserve it for my name? Ummm No.

Second off. WTF dose it matter what my name is? Sorry I'm a fan of ICP. Wait...No I'm not sorry. I like them. I grew up around their music. So Get over it. And I didn't expect tips. But it's rather rude to leave something like that when I was overly nice, on time with everything, and everything came out right.

uhh taht doesn't sound drunk to me. sounds high lol

I work as a chef in a hotel, so I can sympathize with the OP. So long as your server does a good job and is courteous, leave a tip. If s/he does a shitty job then, s/he's SOL. The fact that these jackasses didn't tip her, and mocked her on top of it, is ****** up. To all those people who showed no sympathy to OP, here's some advice for you the next time you go out to eat: Don't **** with the people who are handling your food.

I'm not gonna get into the tipping wank here, but I've just gotta say: If you're NOT going to tip, it's a pretty shitty thing to mock your server by leaving a "Here's your tip: __________" note, which is something I've heard of more than once.

I love how #113 makes sure to have perfect capitalization while getting pissed off.

dear #61 if you don't want to pay for service, stay at home and make your own food and serve it to yourself or get takeout.

whoop whoop i'd love to come see you at IHOP and i'd give you a better tip than that

If you play leap frog with a unicorn incorrectly, its horn may get shoved into a rather uncomfortable location.

The reason people are servers is because you have the potential to make tons of money. In season, I average about $250 a night. I've walked out with over $500 before, and that's just waiting tables, bar tending you make a substantial amount more, not including the tip out you get from the servers. The most I've made bar tending is $750. All those tips were made in 5 hours or less.
