Today, I went and bought my wife a new cell phone for a Christmas present. She called me five minutes later saying she got a notification e-mail thanking her for her purchase. FML

Today, I bought my girlfriend an iPhone. I preloaded it with a bunch of cool apps and stuff and spent a lot and money. She used it to send a text to me 3 hours later saying that she thought we should break up. FML

Today, I got a text from my girlfriend saying she needed more phone credit, so I bought her more and got another message saying "Great, now I have enough credit for this..." as she spelled out a three page message breaking up with me. Yes, I paid for her to break up with me via text. FML

Today, my wife, being very considerate, bought me a new phone for my birthday. That would be fine and dandy if cops didn't then enter my house and say I stole it. Turns out my wife paid $900 from MY credit card to the person who stole the phone. FML

that almost happened to me. if you upgrade someone's phone, the company sends the person an email confirming it, gift or not. I hacked into my husband's account and changed the email before I bought his new one. then they sent a confirmation in the mail saying the email had been changed. stupid AT&T makes it extremely difficult to buy a new phone as a surprise gift. it's quite a turn-off. lucky I always get the snail mail ;)

I love on Fml that everyone is serious, & ponders the outcome or solution of an Fml post. cute, but sorta stupid. & this particular post was quite boring.
