Today, I went horseback riding with this guy I like. I asked him to help me get on the horse. I slipped, and while trying to keep my balance, I kicked him in the face. FML

What a nightmare! Good thing he's a tough Italian stallion, or else he would have g-roaned. All these haters here sound like a bunch of horse. Just get back in the saddle and pony up or you'll just stirrup bad feelings like a driving rein. I'm sure your relationship is stable enough to tolerate this. The mane thing is to apologize.
