Today, I went to a group gym lesson. While working on our abs, the coach came through, touching our stomachs to check we were doing the exercises correctly. When he got to me, he asked, "How many kids have you got then?" I'm 22, and I've got none. FML

Work those abs till they ask how many crunches you can do before your awesomeness makes the world explode!

She could be asking because labor uses muscles, and yours might feel like they've been used, a lot. Or be worried that you are pregnant and not want to risk someone having complications from exercising, which can and does happen since pregnancy runs right up against the metabolic limits of humans.

When I went to MEPS, on the physical the physician asked me the same thing. And then tried to tell me I was lying. This was when I was 18. smh

Got to love people who don't know when to admit they messed up. Also did your physician think you would not remember giving birth?

Sounds like you have a diastasis recti. It's common with women who have had babies but not exclusive. You have to do a specific type of exercise to help fix it. You should ask her about it

Kick him in the balls and tell home he won't be having kids for a while!!

one problem. the coach is female, not male...

There are just as many nerve endings in that region for females as there are for males. That said, violence isn't the answer to an insult, especially one that was potentially unintentional.

Except our gonads aren't hanging on the outside of our bodies, #40. No comparison. None.

Actually, he's male, as stated in the fml.

Don't worry op, I'm sure you are perfect the way you are. La bise de Toulouse! :-)

What does your age have to do with you having kids or not? I mean you are an adult.

The image cut for the illustration makes it look like something is popping out of her bellybutton.

"When he got to me, she asked..." So is it a boy or a girl???

I feel bad for thenOP and all but I don't think the instructor was trying to be rude. I think he was trying to make friendly conversation and by feeling the muscles in the OP's stomach assumed that she had gone through child birth. So I think instead of calling the instructor rude, it's seems he simply made an innocent mistake.
