Today, I went to IHOP for breakfast. As we were leaving, I realized a little girl took my Hello Kitty hairclip. For the next 5 minutes, I fought with an 8 year-old for a hairclip. She won. FML

I feel ya, OP. It's not immature to be wearing cute hair clips. A lot of people also do that. It's stupid that the kid got your hair clip. You'd think her parents would notice that it's not hers and maker her give it back...

y on earth were u wearing a hello kitty hair clip?!?! the only person I no that wears those is 9 :p

Aw, they start so young, don't they? It's not really wise to fight with a kid though. In my experience, they're far more likely to get away with cheating and stealing anyway. Just buy a new one. You can also content yourself with the knowledge that if such goes unchecked, she might just grow up to be jail-bait anyway.

it's a 1$ hairpin get over it. YDI for beig a asshole who won't share with the cutesy of five yea olds

You obviously know nothing about anything. Hello Kitty items are damned expensive. That clip probably cost closer to $5 if it was bought from a Hello Kitty store. Even if it was cheaper, it's the principal. It was the OP's hair clip, not that little brat's.

How old are you, considering you can't spell "are"? Not very old, obviously.

you're an idiot and ydi for being a douche

haha funny but depends how old u are

FYL, OP. And those of you who are saying that only 8 year olds wear Hello Kitty obviously aren't paying attention to fads. Honestly, I usually don't either, but I have a sister in high school obsessed with Hello Kitty, and there's a shit load of girls at her school who are too. I'm not claiming to understand it, but if the OP is anywhere from 13-21, they aren't in the minority for wearing Hello Kitty items. :-P
