Today, I went to the local pet store to purchase a large dog bed so my dog wouldn't sleep in mine. After I got home and set up her bed, I realized I forgot to buy dog treats. When I came home again, her new bed was torn to shreds, and she was still sleeping on my bed. FML

Today, I was napping with my boyfriend and his dog. The dog was making odd coughing noises, but my boyfriend refused to kick him out of the bed. A few moments later, I rolled onto my stomach, into a pile of dog vomit. FML

That is very sad, but it sounds as if your dog felt no pain and passed away peacefully in his sleep on your comfortable bed. I'm sorry you lost your best friend, finding him dead rather than asleep must have been awful. I'm sure he was a great dog.

=( sorry to hear that. At least he was next to you the last moments of his life. My childhood dog died on the cold hard garage floor trying to get up. I felt awful
