wtf what's wrong about this?
the OP is most likely not 15 years old, which is why this is a FML. working at burger king at 18 is even embarrassing.
if you think this is a FML, why don't you get another job?
oh & also it's an FML because you don't have to DO anything to be a manager at Burger King. the average manager only makes 8$ too. hahaha
Honestly, like many have said before, it isn't bad. He obviously said it proudly as you are achieving something at your job and showing good potential! It is NOT embarrassing to work at a place like BK to get by if you're still sorting out your future, going to school, or are too young for a 'real' job. Hold onto your contacts there because somebody likes you and will give you good reference for when you're looking to move up the food chain. Hold onto him too until he ***** up because he's obviously proud of you.
not an fml so what are u 16 thats a decent job
honestly thats not that big of a deal depending on how old you are. if youre still in high school then good for you that means you are a hard working kid. but if youre already out of college or something then thats kind of a FML. but thats not that bad, you shouldnt feel insecure that just because they are rich and successful that whatever you do is inferior. also you should be glad that youre going out with someone rich lol

He EXCITEDLY said you were promoted to manager. He's proud of you! YDI because it isn't bad. Don't be bummed.
Hey, you gotta start somewhere. Hopefully his parents understand that. Odds are they were in similar positions early on, too.
