Today, I went to the doctor to see why my walking pneumonia wasn't getting any better. It had. I've just somehow managed to also contract mono... while sitting home, alone. FML

Um, I think it's time to check for pervy ghosts.

Mono doesn't start taking effect for like a month or two later. So it all depends on what you were doing then. But I feel your pain. Feel better!!

Don't get Greek on me, now...

You're just a walking Petri dish. Thank god you don't live anywhere close to me. No seriously, stay the **** away. You're probably also harboring the flu, tularemia, cat scratch fever, and the bubonic plague.

Well that's ironic,considering you're a doctor an all.

doctors can get sick too. I'm sure they would prefer to avoid illness wherever possible.

The serial kisser strikes again!

Some people get mono every time their immune system goes down. They have to have gotten it first somewhere else, but you're always a carrier. That myth about only being able to get mono once is BS.

Yep. I have Lupus, and I've had mono a bunch of times. I'm always sick with something, the drugs to treat Lupus nuke your immune system (which is otherwise causing autoimmune symptoms by attacking healthy tissues). Weirdly, my ex-boyfriend never caught it. I can't walk into a hospital or doctor's office without coming out with some form of plague, no matter how much I wash my hands/use hand sanitizer/sit on them so I don't touch my face.

Be careful OP, it seems like natural selection is coming after you.
