Is it possible that the OP did something completely horrendous and violent to warrant getting batted in the privates? Of course it is! Anything is possible. Does that mean that it actually happened? No. It doesn't. Without proof, it's just a baseless, meaningless accusation. If you think he deserved it, then give me solid evidence that he raped his ex, slaughtered her family, or did something on a similar level of depravity. Otherwise, this is clearly an FML.

All these women who say he did something to deserve it need to get off your high horses. Seriously, yes, it's possible he was a bastard or cheated, but nothing outside of being physically assaulted, or rape, or a friend be assaulted aka self defense warrants a man being kicked in the balls because not only is it painful (so I've heard--I'm female), but it can also damage him irreversibly and cause problems for him if he ever wants kids. What's up with the double standards, too? I'm seriously all for equal rights and woman being treated just as men—seeing as I am a woman--but all these women who are using double standards (if a man hits a woman, it's physical abuse and sick, but if a woman hits a man...well, he probably deserved it!) are not helping at all, and are, in fact, just making things worse. You need to decide if you want equality, or to be treated like someone who can't handle anything and needs help for the smallest for things. Anyway, sorry for the long rant. OP, FYL. Nothing deserves a violent action. People become emotional and irrational when their hearts are broken and do stupid, terrible things. Maybe the man cheated on her, maybe something worse, or maybe she just wasn't right for him and he broke up with her in a very respectable way. It's always possible that he broke up with her because she was violent and emotionally unstable. People think that only men abuse women, but here is a perfect example of how women abuse men. As a woman, I would like to apologize for my sex's infliction of pain upon the male genitalia. I thank God that mine is on the inside, protected from the cruelties of the world... and baseball bats. OP, I hope that you can still have children after this.
