Believe it or not, some studies show that women are more often than men the offenders in domestic violence. Also, the dark figure is way higher with men as the victims, probably because a man hitting a woman is an awful thing in everybodies eyes, yet a woman hitting a man is no big deal and the man isn't supposed to complain about it. (originally, there was a link to the study here, but FML diddn't like it) Of course, various "men are pigs, women are victims"-organizations did everything they could against that study because there are big bucks to be made with the victimizing of women. As far as I remember, the woman in the researching group even received death threats for it. Note that I'm not saying that violence, no matter from whom, is ok. I'm just pissed off that everytime something like this FML comes up, people, mostly women, go "Ha ha!! I'm sure you deserved it" or some shit like that. If he diddn't just, I dunno, burn down her house and drown her first born, then no, he diddn't deserve it. Even if he would have ****** 20 other women he wouldn't deserve that.
