Today, I went to the orthodontist's to get my braces tightened, and I chose baby blue bands. Turns out they make my teeth look extremely yellow. Only a month and a half to go. FML

Today, I started the bleaching treatments that my dentist recommended. Now, my two front teeth have ultra white spots, the rest of my teeth are still yellow and the roof of my mouth is burned. FML

Today, I decided to finally bleach my teeth. After 45 minutes of stinging pain, my teeth are still yellow as ever. My gums, on the other hand, are opaque white. FML

Brace yourself

Today, my orthodontist thought it would be a good idea to put braces on the teeth in the very back. One bracket popped off twice, after which he shoved a metal band in my mouth onto one of my teeth, cutting my gums, and causing gushing blood. Now, I can’t eat anything unless it’s baby food and I have a lisp. FML

Today, I got my braces checked by another orthodontist since I've had them for years and my teeth never got the way they should be. After 8 years and 27 x-ray exams, my orthodontist didn't do much except loosen the root of the tooth to the point where I can move it. FML

Oh we've all been there, ( those with braces anyway ) accidentaly picking a colour that ends up yellow :/ sorry OP!

Last time I chose "silver" but they ended up being grey. They actually make my teeth look really white and the braces less noticeable. On the down side my teeth look worse in pictures but overall I think it is a good color choice

I know how you feel, OP. I had braces for 5 years. I would always choose 'Smoke.' It was a translucent grey. Not noticeable, and it doesn't yellow. I hope you get your braces off soon!
