Today, I went to the store to buy groceries. I didn't care how I looked, so I wore an old shirt that said, "Thousands of my potential children died on your daughter's face last night." I ran into my girlfriend's parents at the store. FML

...Why do you even own a shirt that says that, much less wear it in public? XD. This made me laugh, but you definitely deserve it. Wear vulgar clothes, get in trouble.

#18, your comment made me LOL more than the story itself.

I love your shirt. To the people offended by it, loosen up. I'm a girl and I think it's hilarious.

Why should women be forced to "learn to take a joke" when it is clearly and unarguably made in poor taste? Instead, how about we stop pardoning assholes who make crude, insulting and unnecessary jokes? There is such a perplexing acceptance in society of inappropriate ignorance, and such blind condemnation of those who express any discontent with it. It seems like it would be so much more productive to simply stop glorifying idiocy.

#245 Finding humor in things is an admirable quality. As a female I don't find that joke insulting at all. I think a lot of people are too busy finding things to get mad about to just laugh. It's just a joke about semen for goodness sakes.

I love how the people who think the shirt is funny are telling the people opposed to the shirt to get a "sense of humor". it's not that they don't have a sense of humor, it's that their sense of humor doesn't include cheap vulgar jokes that only amuse 20-something year old douchebags.

#245- the ability to stand up for one's self and demand the respect that you merit is also an admirable quality. More so, I'd say, than the ability to take a joke that offends you. If you are not offended that's fine, but clearly there are enough people who are offended to demonstrate the distaste with which jokes like that are made. If my boyfriend said that to my parents I would feel incredibly disrespected, exploited and subjectified. I'm not wrong for feeling that way. So why am I condemed for the sake of his lack of respect?

I'm all for wearing joke shirts, but really, that one is repulsive :P You gotta expect some people are gonna have negative reactions. And yeah, everyone is right - you wear the shirt, you cop the reactions. It was bad luck that caused you to run into the wrong people, but your choice to wear the potentially disgusting/offensive shirt in the first place. YDI.
