Today, I went to visit my husband's grave. I was unable to mourn in peace because some teenagers were smoking pot and talking about a government conspiracy "to change the way gravity works" on the next grave over. FML

They may have been mourning too, I mean I do think they should have left when you came over. However, I recently had a friend of mine pass and I know that on the 11th of every month the group of people that he would usually smoke with will gather at his grave site and pass around a joint. They're polite enough to wait until there's no one around or leave if they see someone visiting a grave near by, but my point is that a lot of teenagers will do this at a friends grave and not everyone is a responsible enough stoner to know to leave and carry on their high elsewhere if someone else is right by them.

I don't think discussing government conspiracies are typical of people who go to a cemetery to mourn. Regardless, even in the instance of your personal story, smoking at a cemetery is kind of disrespectful. I don't have anything against weed or the people who smoke it, but that is not the appopriate place to do it. I mean, would you think of it in the same "well, that's not so bad" way if a bunch of people got super drunk at a grave site? Probably not.

22- Wether they were mourning or not isn't even a question. The topic of the senate passing a bill decreeing that gravity change direction sounds like a completely normal thing to discuss while paying respects to a friend who has passed.

you don't know thos ple maybe thy talked about strange gov con all the time with thr 6 ft under friend. other ple live on this planet too. lastly however she should just be happy she even has a place where she can go to visit her hubs and do that, he could have been lost at sea or eaten by cannibals...

27 - being super drunk is completly diff from being high, I really don't think anyone should care about a few ple being happy, tired, and probly a bit hungry, thr making the best out of a shit situation...not stumbling all over themselves while speaking loudly in some language that is hardly recognizable.

drunk and high are NOT the same thing at all. drunks are usually ignorant, loud, and annoying. stoners just chill, without making too much of a scene

Maybe OP did report them, but the bottom line is that she could not mourn in peace, because of some asshole kids. Reporting them doesn't fix the original problem necessarily.
