Today, I went to visit teachers at the high school I graduated from 3 months ago as valedictorian. Turns out, I had an expired parking permit, and I didn't properly get a visitor pass. The school went into a "yellow lockdown" because of me. My car was towed. I got arrested for trespassing. FML

Today, I got pulled over for having an expired registration. I also found out my husband hasn't been paying for my car insurance. Luckily, I didn't get arrested because I had my baby with me. They towed my car and gave me 2 tickets and a court date. Oh, and the cop sent me a friend request. FML

Today, I went to my girlfriend's Catholic all girls high school to ask her to prom by decorating her car. As soon as I walked on campus the school went into lock down because of a "suspicious male intruder." When I saw my girlfriend, she denied knowing me. I was arrested. FML

Today, my car was stolen from my driveway. I reported it to the police, the insurance company, and my neighbors, and begged for help via social media. As I walked to catch a bus, I saw my car parked outside my school. I forgot I left it there last night. FML

Today, I got called out of class to talk to some cops. Turns out my car was involved in a hit and run accident, while I was in school and there was no possible way it could have been me. But since they have no one else, it's my fault. FML

Today, my boss reported to the police that a suspicious car has been parked outside the store late at night. I walked outside and my car was gone. He had my car towed. FML

Today, I hit a car while trying to park. Assuming that no one saw, I moved my car and parked somewhere else. Hours later I get a call from the university police. While backing up to go to the police station I hit another car. FML

Today, I was walking to school and decided to be a good citizen by picking up a beer can on the sidewalk. I then walked on to my school's campus where I then got suspended by my dean for "trying to rebel", grounded by my parents for getting suspended, and an MIP from the school's police guard. FML

Today, I let my dad borrow my car. I found out a few hours later that he has had a suspended license for three years. How did I find out? He got pulled over and arrested. My car was also impounded. I'm a college student barely making it as it is. Guess who can't afford the impound fees? FML

Today, I woke up at 7 am to take my last final. When I got to the parking lot, I realized my car was missing. After speaking to the police for 3 hours, I called my girlfriend to let her know what happened. She then told me I had parked on the street the night before. So much for the 8 am final. FML

As weird as it is I believe it. Some high schools in the states are closer to prisons these days.

umm....this is august...what school is open in august???? I"m sorry if i have this wrong...but in the states as far as i know or have lived in areas...school is closed from july to end of august (they open in the last week of august for course selection changes and counsellor meetings) **i call FAKE!

Actually, some schools where I live end in may and start back up again in august.. so I wouldn't call it fake on account of that. :p

Actually, the schools around here just started on Wednesday... I'm pretty sure schools start and end earlier down here than they do for y'all yankees. :)

Some schools are going to year round school. You know there is this whole world outside of the little bubble you live in that does thing differently than where you live. Just because somewhere does things different doesn't mean its fake.

The smartest kid in the school showing up for summer school (aka, remedial classes)? Sounds like a good reason to panic! It would be like the cheerleaders showing up for the Junior Classical League meeting! Now before you JCL folk come to lynch me, I was actually president of my high school's JCL. And we did get some of the hot cheerleaders to join (I still don't know how). Go ahead and let the rest of the school think you are nerds, we know that JCL rules! Semper ubi sub ubi. ;)
