Hey this is OP. I didn't know this got posted until looking at the new fml's. This happened this weekend a few days after my birthday no less. Part of it is my fault I've been working hard doing two jobs to save up enough money to hopefully move in with her someday. But this left me with barely little time to spend with her and she took it as me losing interest in her so she started dating someone else without me knowing and I didn't find out until she admitted it hours after I texted her. I still talk to her and she does feel terrible but whatever. Thanks to everyone for the support and I'm just taking it one day at a time now.

I feel your pain. Yesterday my girlfriend told me that she's still in love with her ex and that if she had to choose between us she would choose him. This is the same ex that I spent three years waiting for her to break up with because I was in love with her. **** our lives, but hang in there OP. We'll get through this.

That's the issue you have with it, #76? Lol. Why not the fact that a simple good morning text every morning is NOT a reason to cheat? Also, being a woman and being called a female is literally fine. I don't understand what's so bad about that.

It's very possible that OP's girlfriend responded to the wrong text and was warding off another admirer/stalker by letting them know she's not available. A follow up would be handy here to know if this is true and OP just jumped on the worst conclusion and didn't believe his GF, if things got sorted out later OR she really is breaking up in the most shitty way possible.
