Haha. How do you forget your own mother's birthday? Oh, well. It's still salvageable so long as you shake a leg and do something before the day's over.
No FYL for having your mom as a friend on fb.
You should have just saved yourself by saying it was all a joke and organising something nice while she's out.
Oh no! Wait, this can be salvaged! Plan a huge impromptu surprise birthday for her when she gets back from work :D
Yes, because your mother's birthday is SO MUCH more important than your own? You FML commentors are sad...
I think the point we're all getting at is that this is a person really really close to the OP. You should be able to remember the birthdays of your immediate family. After all, you've grown up with them for eighteen or so years, usually. Forgetting your own mother's birthday would be like forgetting what two plus two equals. It's something you just grow up knowing, and if you forget, you look pretty damn stupid for a little while.
How could u forget ur mom's birthday?
YDI for not remembering your own mother's birthday.

This is when you bake a big cake and tell her you were only pretending to forget. You can recover!
Quick, you have a couple of hours to arrange a mini surprise party!!
