Today, I woke up late to an urgent voicemail from my dad telling me he left me a present in my car. Excited, I went to investigate. I then saw that his "surprise" was fresh fish he had caught. I hate fish, and now my car stinks. FML

I always kinda laugh at people who say "YDI for being ungrateful!" ... Because you would be SO TOTALLY THANKFUL YOURSELF if your dad left a food that you don't like in your car, making it stink. Get the **** over yourselves.

***ok my dad was trying to play a prank on me!!*** He knows i don't like fish! And in fact have allergic reactions to some kinds. It was the end of July and I had just worked a double shift! So I turned my volume on my cell off to get some sleep. btw he put them in there while they were still alive. they died in my car. and kind of "cooked" in the 98 degree heat. In his defense though he thought I would come right out and find them, not knowing i had worked 18 hours. We laughed about it in the end!!

you should be thankful that your dad cared enough about you to give you his prize fish. so what you didn't like the gift you received. its the thought that counts. I've gotten many gifts i don't like or even want, but I don't complain about it because it's a present from someone who've thought of me.
