Today, I woke up while staying at my friend's house. I saw the bathroom light on, so for a laugh, I got up and quietly pennied the door. After laughing at him struggling to open the door, I decided to let him out. Turned out it wasn't my friend in there; it was his dad. FML

do you stay in different rooms when staying at your friends house. I know when I stay at a friends I stay in their room. There for you should be able to see them not in their bed and in the the bathroom. because of that ydi

#45, I think #3 assumed it was the middle of the night because the FML states that OP "woke up" which probably means this happened in either the morning or in the night time (the reason I said night time is because maybe OP had a bad dream and woke up or something like that), and later on it is said that the light was on, leaving readers to assume that it was probably the middle of the night. - Sorry for the long reply
