Today, I wore a tank top for the first time in a few years. It turned out even worse than the last time. I got insulted by several people over my "Never say never" upper chest tattoo, which I got years ago, before the words ever became associated with a certain douchy Canadian pop "singer". FML

Well, you can't blame them. Nobody likes a belieber. Can you get the tattoo removed or something?

As far as most Canadians are concerned, he isn't considered one of us anymore. Just a clarification. No one likes that little fucknugget.

Who cares what they think. It obviously means something to you, or at least it did when you got it. What you put on your body is your business, no one else's.

The trick is to look confused and say "What?". Then they have to say it is something to do with Justin Bieber (is it a song? A tattoo the little creep has? I have no idea because I don't pay him any attention). Then you laugh at them, and say "Oh, is it? I never listen to that sort of s***. Are you a big fan, or do you just listen at home?" The other idea is to add "Again" to the end and start talking in a Scottish accent with a speech impediment on each "s".

Drink driving, peeing in a bucket (which someone else would've had to clean up)? Sounds pretty douchey to me

Want to express yourself with a tattoo? Don't get upset when people express themselves vocally. YDI for expecting special treatment because you have a tattoo

Not having your appearance criticized by strangers as you walk down the street is not "special treatment"

And expecting nobody to comment on your choices is ignorant. People have a right to share their opinion whether it agrees with yours or not. If people don't want to be judged, they shouldn't present themselves in ways that would draw such attention.

Do you realize the OP may have made the FML because he was upset that people judged him in a dumb way and insulted him for something he never even did because of their own generalizing stupid assumptions? Would you be okay with it if someone assumed a bunch of crap about you and insulted you and blamed you for it?

So it's your belief that this tattoo didn't look completely idiotic before the beaver connection?

We are sorry... so sorry for unleashing the twat... I swear this is not how most Canadians are. Also, who cares what other dumb people think of your ink, be proud to wear it, those words have been said before this idiot used them in a song.

Just pretend you don't know who he is. "What a douche! Is that a Justin Bieber tattoo?!" "...who?"

I was going to press YDI until I read that you got the tattoo before that overly hyped wannabe ever had that song. You have my deepest remorse. Perhaps you should get a skull tattoo right above it to shake off the JB references.

Never say never. Unless you're Rick Astley. ;)

Maybe try to add other words below it or above it? "Ill Never say Never, I'll Never give up." Or just "Never say never, never give up"
