Today, I worked in a clinic as a intern. A nurse was called to dry a woman's hair. I followed her, trying to be a good intern. After the nurse was done, the 72 year old woman took off her bathrobe. While looking at me she sat down, her legs wide open. And, yes, she knew she was naked. FML

Sounds like a man living at the assisted living home I work at. He likes to slap our asses and ask if we can give him "room service." I guess old people have needs too, but damn.

this fml really rubbed me the wrong way, i used to work with the severly mentally and physically disabled, including bathing them and changing their diapers. i was 16 (nepotism, my mom is a doctor and wanted me to learn some hard lessons about life) the human body is a beautiful functional thing at any age and if you work in a clinic you should not react this way. if you really have a problem with human bodies that are not young and beautiful you need to spend a few days in a sauna complex to learn what normal people look like naked.
