Today, I wrote a 2000 word essay on "Las Vegas - The City That Never Sleeps". I was proud of my work, until someone pointed out that New York is "The City That Never Sleeps", not Vegas. FML

You could argue that Las Vegas is also a "city that never sleeps", since people stay up all night gambling or out at clubs. However, Las Vegas is usually recognized as "Sin City" and the slogan is "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".

they are both called it.... new York more often than las Vegas, but new York has the windy city and the big apple. Vegas is called it because the casino's don't close.

I typed "The city that never sleeps" into Google. Vegas was recommended before NYC. You're fine.

So just change the title and any reference to "the city that never sleeps"'in your essay. Not a big deal
