If she's opting to stay in an abusive relationship then she's probably got other issues to deal with, too. My advice is to nix the dating idea but stay friends if you can handle staying JUST friends. If she wants your support, be available. If she breaks up with this guy (or he breaks up with her) don't immediately try to date her. If you really care about her, let her work her drama out without adding to the mix by pressuring her to date. Meanwhile, I don't think I could date someone who couldn't read cursive. Are you sure it wasn't just YOUR cursive?

Girls who are in abusive relationships don't always know that they are in an abusive relationship.. A lot of the time the guy plays mind tricks w them and makes them feels as if they need the guys and the abusiveness that he is doing to them is somehow their fault and that they deserve it.. So it is not necessarily the girls fault.. It is very difficult to get out of an abusive relationship
