Today, I told the girl I've been seeing for a while about the strong feelings that I have for her and that I was falling in love. Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. Thinking I was being cute I spelled out "Marry Me" in alphabet soup, because that's her favorite. She took one look at it and started to laugh. She then began to spell out "no". She still ate the soup. FML

cursive is a graceful form of writing, but be aware that because our education system these days is a total clusterfuck that not everyone can read or write cursive. i used to hate cursive though, because my grandma who i lived with growing up would refuse to read anything i wrote unless it was in cursive.

Why is everyone saying the girl is dumb? If she's in an abusive relationship, she could fear getting hurt. For all you know, she could have lied about not knowing cursive just to have an excuse to stay with the abuser.

It's probably not the cursive itself that's hard to read... but really BAD cursive. I find that a lot of people who write it tend to make a real mess of it.
