Today, in class, I asked my teacher for a "rubber". I didn't realise that in America "rubber" doesn't mean "eraser", it means condom. FML

yes, the Beatles are totally still relevant to teenagers! they'll be around forever i think....i'll at least introduce my kids and yeah a rubber can be considered an eraser....it erases the chances of getting pregnant...?!

Haha! I've done that before!!! And, when I first transfered from Elementary school to Primary school, I made the mistake of calling a 'full stop,' a 'period.' I didn't know why everyone was laughing untill my mum explained it to me when I got home...now I just call them dots.

Odd. Most people I know watch enough US shows to know period means full stop over there.

LOL, reminds me of a girl, who was new, moved in from I dunno where. She complimented another girl by saying, "Cute thongs!". Poor girl, people still remember after 3 years.
