Today, in college, we were asked at what age girls tend to become physically attractive. Wrongly thinking the answer was in relation to puberty, I said, "Umm... 11 or 12?" Now everyone thinks I'm some kind of pedophile. FML

Today, I'm a guy who's always been physically a late bloomer. In high school, I looked too young for girls to like me. At 22, I still looked 17. Now at 25, I look good but when girls find out my age, they expect me to have everything figured out by now. I never got to be young. FML

Today, I was at work refreshing the shelves when a man turned the corner and said, very surprised, "You look 12!" A few weeks back, two people did the same thing, only they said I looked 9. I'm almost 21 years old, and just very short. Starting to get just a little self conscious here. FML

I also find the notion that being attracted to and noticing attractiveness are synonymous to be ridiculous. As a straight male, I can look at a man and think "that's a good looking dude" without personally finding him sexually desirable.

Well, a 12-13 year old boy he would find a 11-12 year old girl attractive? I'm sure the OP had crushes on girls that young when he was a pre-teen...And 13 upwards is usually when kids start "dating" (kisses on the cheek, being too shy to talk to each other, etc.) anyways (from my own and friend's experience anyways)

#44, Haha wtf? Not cool. It's a pretty silly question to ask. But in OPs defense, recent studies have shown that recent generations begin puberty earlier than 12, so you know... if it was a puberty-related question, that wasn't such a bad answer. And secondly, who are we all kidding? We all had crushes in like 6th and 7th grade, once the "eww boys" and "eww girls" phase is over. R Relax OP. All is well :)
