Today, is my 21st birthday. My friends took me to a bar to celebrate, knowing I don't drink. I'm now in charge of driving my friends home after they've had an awesome night. FML

Have you pro-getting-wasted peopel read your comments before hitting the "spill the beans" button? You sound like you enjoy bad things happening to you, self-destructing maniacs! OP I think it's great thet you don't drink and respect other people's of doing so. That's a good sign of maturity. HOWEVER it was your birthday and you should've called the place to go. Perhaphs a mini-golf or bowling alley. Something fun where drinking is not done by peer pressure. Heck! you could've even gon to a strip bar and get them pay a lap dance!

no that sucks. If you dont drink, then you dont drink. You dont need to make exceptions, and your friends should have known not to take you to a bar where primarily the point is to consume alcohol.

OP could also be straight edge (which I respect but am not a part of) to the point that they just see things as just uncool. The only real problem with straight edge is that it's basically a trend that forces it's belief on anyone who doesn't follow it, I mean, they can be downright evil to some people just for drinking...not exactly the best solution. And once you're out of the trend, you do stupid things. XXX4Life isn't always for life for the record.

I love all these people who sit there and say "oh go to chuck e cheese", heres a response to you; how bout "oh grow the **** up" good for you and not drinking, I'm the same way and it's a goal for my friends to get me to drink. they fail. ....just like the lives of all these people with their alcohol
