reminds me of my 21st... just about word for word.
Should have driven yourself home and left your asshole friends to pay for taxis.
They wanted to include you. Jesus, it was your birthday. Don't be an ass. It's your fault for not drinking. I'm going with the Bro code here. In certain situations you have to perform certain duties. I.e. drinking on your 21st. Wipe the sand outta your vag and maybe next time have some fun.
No, they DIDN'T want to include OP. Obviously, by deciding to take him/her somewhere they new he/she wouldn't enjoy. They wanted to get drunk, and used OP's birthday as nominal excuse to do so. They could have done so any of the other 364 days of the year, without being jackasses to OP.
AND under no circumstance should anybody have to be forced to drink on their 21st. That's a stupid thought. -_-
I'm with you here. Aside from the having to drink bit. Drinking's a personal choice, but so is being a whiny ingrate.
#48 - you don't need to drink to have a good time. But it's hard to have a good time if you're at a bar and the only thing happening is drinking. You can have a good time without drinking by doing things OTHER THAN going to a bar and getting pissed drunk. OP's friends should have taken him/her somewhere he/she would have a good time, not somewhere THEY would have a good time.
YDI for drin... wait... I can't say that! D: A smart OP for once?! THE HORROR!!
You deserved it
OP, FYL. I'm sorry your friends are that awful. I definitely feel your pain, I spent the fourth of July taking care of my trashed friends, for the most part, not having much time to relax and have fun. Your friends really should respect your decision not to drink, but I know, not everyone seems to understand it. It's hard, OP, but good for you for sticking to your guns, and not drinking.
just because you don't drink it doesn't mean you can't have fun. it's your fault for not trying to have more fun. and btw, there is nothing wrong with drinking. 2-3 beers or cocktails never hurt nobody.
Aside from the fact that your double negative negates your point, that isn't true. For example, if I had two beers in an hour, that would put me at right about the legal limit, according to BAC calculators anyway. Plus, you forget that some people CAN'T drink. If someone is diabetic (alcohol can significantly lower their blood sugar, plus the symptoms of hypoglycemia are very similar to being drunk, so it's easy to miss), or if they have a liver condition, drinking any significant amount of alcohol (even less than 2-3 beers) could potentially be very dangerous. There are also some medicines that say you shouldn't consume alcohol when you're taking them.
u can't be allergic to alcohol u can be allergic to the extra stuff or to certain kinds of alcohol like some ppl can't drink beer cause there allergic to bread or whisky cause there allergic to corn but alcohol is Made of so many diff things u cant be allergic to them all
Um, I can't consume ANY type of alcohol. Even coming in contact with it if it's in something like deodorant, I'll become ill. It's entirely possible.
Amen #81. I'm diabetic and I don't drink. I tried it when I hit legal age and decided that it definitely wasn't worth it and wasn't my think. I like to be alert (and not fear for my life, lol) =P
YDI. let your hair down and have a good time. jeeez.

should have left without them
I still say the term "Friends" needs to be re-defined.
