Today, it is my three-year-anniversary with my boyfriend. I asked if he had planned anything for us, and he said yes. My parents volunteered to watch our daughter, I got all excited, and apparently our "plans" are to watch a football game. What do I get to do? Make sandwiches. For him. FML

i have to at least commend the guy for staying with you for 3 years and raising a kid with you despite not making any long term commitment like marriage

You guys are kind of assholes. She doesn't have to marry the guy to have kids. Marriage isn't right for some people. Just because someone has a kid with someone without getting married doesn't mean the kid is going to be ****** up. It's better to have the people not get married then to get married and always fight around the kid. People should quit being so judgemental.

This was written like it was before the game. There's a chance of a proposal if you think. The commenters on here could learn from MLIA. Anyway it's college football so STFU!!!

Well this sucks but, you can't expect something for every anniversary.

Going out to dinner or even for a walk in the park isn't much. It's not like she was expecting him to take her on a cruise or something. She just wanted to do something special that they don't do every day.

You know how you think going on a walk with her is a good idea, well i highly doubt he thinks its a great idea, but im sure going for a football game with her seemed great to him, so they're not going to do something they both like, the whole point is they are doing together. Oh and judging on how she took the news of the football im guessing she isnt the best company at a football game but he decided to go with her

they didn't go out to watch the game, they watched it at home. that's how she was able to make sandwiches for him. his "plans" for their anniversary were basically "i'm going to sit on my ass and watch sports while you make me food." do they both like to eat? bam, there's something enjoyable they can do together for their anniversary, go out to eat. regardless of how the guy feels about watching football, if both people aren't enjoying themselves, it's a shitty anniversary.

sounds like a great anniversary. stop being so damn selfish.

All of you saying dump him, are you retarded??? Is this the shit you dump a guy have been with for 3 years and have a child with over or does it seem like a good enough reason for a kid to grow up in a Broken home, think before you share your views

Well what do ya know....the world doesn't revolve around you after all. What a shocker. Yeah, fyl alright

It doesnt have to revolve around HER but why couldn't it revolve around THEM? Dinner, a movie, or even something free that would be a good time.

3 year anniversary = couples activity.

U seem to be a perfect woman to me so not sure what all the fuss is about

You couldn't have given him a halftime show? How many sandwiches can a man eat during a game? Are you dating Kobayashi? My condolences that you are making sandwiches, not sammiches.
