i don't know what age you are or what area you're from. your mother may expect you to be with your friends for security purposes. kidnapping a group of screaming, running children is essentially impossible. kidnapping a quiet loner is trivial. notifying your mother isn't a social commentary as much as a safety precaution - something that only a mother would worry about.

I am sorry. Loneliness is a battle that not many people are sympathetic too at the best of times or even understand how it could be possible when the world is full of people. But it happens many times over. Loneliness can also lead to depression. So take note of that and try not to let it get you down . Sometimes there isn't anyone at that moment in your life and no matter what you do, you are still alone so all you have is you. I hope your life turns around soon and you meet many wonderful people to hang out with. Your life won't always be lonely.
