Today, it's been 10 days since my family and I have been visiting France. I've always wanted to try their culinary specialties but my dad says we "can't trust them". We've eaten at McDonald's 9/10 times. FML

just came back from vacation myself. I ate a double cheeseburger from there on an empty stomach since my mom wasnt stopping anywhere else ..messed me up for the whole day.

A lot of people travel and do not eat local. If they are not accustomed to it, it comes across as "bad" Some people do not like experimenting and even bring along their own condiments etc.

Because you can always trust McDonald's good ol' pink ammonia sludge. You're missing out on a good part of your visiting experience; veto your dad. Or bring a happy meal for him when you go out to eat in a proper restaurant.
