Today, it's our fifth-year anniversary with my boyfriend. I gave him his gift and walked over to the kitchen to serve him some food I'd made. On my way back to the dining room, I overheard his plans with his friend to ditch me in 10 minutes. FML

This could be very romantic. He opens your ketchup packet, and some squirts on your face. He tenderly wipes it off with a moist towlette. He springs for the McLobster sandwich, which he brings to you as The Beach Boy's "Wouldn't It Be Nice" plays softly in the background. You bite hard into a ring hidden in your McLobster sandwich. He gets down on one knee and proposes as someone takes pictures for a remembrance.
