quit expecting everything to be handed to you. A lot of people don't get cars for their 16th birthday. A lot of people don't get their first car until after college and it's a piece of shit.

You guys are lucky to get cars at 16. In SA its only legel to get you're learners at 17, then you have a year to practice. plus you pay like R400 for every damn test. And hey you're mom did't say what kind of a car she was gonna get you. she just said a car
