Today, it was graduation day, and the very first time I was hosting an event. When I got on stage, I stared at the audience for a good 5 seconds, then fainted. FML

That sucks. I had a similar experience where I was at a big conference presenting research. I was so nervous that I completely blanked 5 minutes into the presentation. I spent the next 40 minutes stumbling through the rest of the presentation.

Hang in there, don't give up. Next time make sure you have your MD prescribe beta-blockers to take right before the event.
