Today, it was my birthday and I have no children. My father bluntly says, "Well, I guess if I get any grand-babies out of you now, they will have Down's Syndrome." I just turned 30. FML

Your dad is an ass. 35+ is when women are most at risk. And besides, there are plenty of women who successfully deliver passed that point with no issues.

My mother was 32 when she had me, 35 with my sister. my aunt was 44 when she had my cousin (fertility hormones of course) none of us had down syndrome. Your father is an ass

Peak fertility for a woman isn't until age 28. You'll be fine, if you even want kids.

My mom had my sister when she was 35, the doctors told my mom she was was going to be born with Autism and that she should think about abortion. Well almost 15 years later my sister is sitting right next to me perfectly fine and disorder free. You are more at risk past 30 but don't let your age or father's words make you feel like it's impossible for you to have children.

My mother had me when she was thirty and I happen to be rather intelligent if Indo day so myself. 30 is a great age to have children if you want them.
