Today, it was my boyfriend's 21st birthday. Along with a pair of $80 shoes, I bought him a birthday cake, his favorite ice cream and a $15 balloon. I showed up to the party and he was very intoxicated. So intoxicated that he pops the balloon, drops the cake, and throws up all over his new shoes. FML

I would like to see this $15 balloon.

But he's still got the ice cream right? Let's keep this in perspective!

~~AT LEAST HE STILL HAS THE ICE CREAM =D

don't get him anything anymore.... Though, you probably should have given him the gifts when he was sober...

What I want to know is what happened to the ice cream. Did it make him throw up? Did its richness push the limits of his alcohol filled stomach to the max? What flavor was it? Questions….questions…. and I’ll probably never get the answers I so desperately seek.

he probably threw up the icecream

YDI for expecting your bf not to get mega-hammered for his 21st and buying a $15 balloon instead of $15 of alchohol for him. Also for being late on your own boyfriends 21st bday party

"Why would you let a drunk person hold a birthday cake?" Lol And lol to #11! You should've known he'd be drunk as hell! YDI giv him his gifts in the morning instead of being late to his partay!

21st birthday.... You buy him booze on his 21st not a fricken balloon

That is what a 21st birthday is. Buy him a bottle of Vodka and bang him till his dick bleeds.

I never understood the idea of getting sickeningly drunk on any occasion, even the 21st birthday. I was able to drink legally before my 21st since I lived in England for a while, so drinking on my 21st wasn't very exciting, but I had a few drinks and still enjoyed myself and everyone had a great time. Why would you want to drink past the enjoyment point and get to the point where you feel sick, piss people off, can't remember the whole thing, and then wake up feeling even worse? How is that at all enjoyable?
